Comment: A pipe had ruptured in the wall. This had gone on for no telling how long. It was in the guest bedroom and I just had no idea of what was going on until I found that the carpet was wet. Not the whole room as this leak was on an outside wall. Mold is heavy duty on the inside the sheet rock. I have not taken out all the sheet rock. I am very uneasy about coming up against this potential danger. A lot of unknown. What is contamiminated or istn't . Bedding, clothing etc.

Comment: I had mold coming through my walls. I called my landlord who then sent out the maintenence man. He cleaned it off the walls but did not check inside the walls. It is always cold in our room and there is constantly moisture inside the window. The mold was black and left a stale smell in the bedroom. It has not come back through the wall yet but recently as it has been raining, I went to the hospital for hives and swollen hands ans have also had cold and allergy symptoms. Please HELP!

Comment: I live in a two bedroom apartment. Mold has shown itself 3 times in the bathroom and is dark spots all over the ceiling. My daughter got bronchitis, then upper respitory sickness and had to be treated and finally leave to go back to live with her father. I have asthma and am couphing up all the time. I've written the landlord 3x, and bleached the walls 3x. She wants to send a man to bleach the walls and use 'paint with mold retardent' in it to cover up the mold. The people upstairs had a dishwasher leak into my ceiling there too and my ceiling in the kitchen has a bubble and the light fixtures are loose. I believe their is mold there too. She is pushing me to let her have a man paint over this. Please help me!! I want my daughter to come back home for summer and I am on advir and asthma medications. Can she just camofloge the problem like this? I'm sure its in the walls and spores are coming out the vents.
