He also gave general advice and guidance relating beyond the original job (replacing a water heater), and made me aware of other things that I should keep in mind for the future. He then stayed to make sure the hot water that came thru the pipes in the end was the right temperature with us before he left, even after he already showed us how to adjust the settings ourselves.
