Comment: We have this Fan Coil - http://www.firstco.com/products/cdxq.asp (24CDXQ) in the kitchen ceilings in condo. I have installed 5 of these thermostats, one after another - http://www.radiothermostat.com/filtrete/products/3M-50/ and after some time they all burned out. Some burned after half a year of service, some burned a week after the installation. Some burned after a city-wide power outage, some burned without any apparent reason. Some do have burned wire smell, some don't. For the last thermostat I installed a 500mA fuse for the C wire, but it did not help, the thermostat burned too, though fuse is totally fine. Usually after 3M burns, I install my old Honeywell thermostat, and it works just fine, as well as it worked fine for three years before I started using 3M thermostats. So, I wonder if - the 3M thermostat is not compatible with the furnace/AC unit (furnace is dual speed, I don't know if this is related), - or I need to install fuses for other wires as we
