"I called Derick initially to check our 13-year old Sears washer that had stopped running during the spin cycle. He determined it was just a switch and replaced it. It has worked fine since. He also checked our dryer vent to make sure it was clear. While on the call he also helped me to move the refrigerator out from the wall and check the drain pipe for the freezer that was plugged up and not defrosting properly. He fixed that also. Just this week I called him again to check the water line in our fridge that was not pumping right. With his help we determined it was a faulty filter I had just replaced. He charged me nothing for the visit, but I tipped him. Derick is very professional, punctual and no BS; he actually wears a uniform and yes, a blue tie! He does charge a service fee but with that and the new washer switch it all came to $200, which is a heck of a lot cheaper than having to buy a new washer! Tip - he says if you have an older washer or dryer, try to keep it as long as you can to avoid all the problems with the new-fangled electronic and web-connected features. Really, do you need to talk to your washer or have your washer talk to your stove??!! "Alexa - Get a life people !" But I digress. Thanks Derick. If I have any more problems with my appliances in the future I will definitely be calling the "Blue Tie Guy" first !"
