The work was scheduled at a time that was convenient to us. We scheduled so that work would be done while we were out of town. Kyle Beym and his employees were very clear in their communications and forthcoming in what we could expect. The work they did was top notch, the job was completed on time, they were very thorough in cleaning up after the work was done (before we came back home), and it was so exciting to come home to ceiling that had been retextured, painted, and with new recessed lights and ceiling fan installed. We were blown away by the quality of the work. You will not be sorry with this company!"

"We did a major addition to our home. It was 2 stories, included a kitchen, new roof line, dining room, facade. OCHB did the entire job, from the new foundations they poured up to the last shingle on the roof. OC Home Builders was outstanding. The reason they're so good is it's a team effort: the husband, Jim, is a detail-oriented, no-nonsense, high quality contractor. And his wife, America, is the customer service. It's a perfect combo. Jim gets it done right, and America makes sure you're brought along and your concerns are heard. Then they have their 2 sons doing a lot of the work, and they're just great. Good, kind boys that are really hard working. Their other employees, David and Paul are also way above par. Good people and really detail oriented-no-shortcuts-type of folks. Anyway, we've used them multiple times and their work has never failed. From a cost perspective, we found them to be right in-line with the majority. Not cheap, but not expensive...but with the excellent product, it's a much higher value."

"Wanted to take a couple minutes out of the day to say thank you to SoCal Builders&Design particularly to our contractor, Ilan. He did a great job completing our ADU conversion. Ran into a major hick up due to the whole COVID19 issue but he kept us informed and ensured that work did not stop once construction started. Ilan kept us informed of how the whole process was going to be from start to finish. He did not go over our set budget and numbers didn’t change from what our initial contract was. Even after the job was completed he continued to follow up to ensure everything was good and ensured that he sent out his workers for any small issues that may had come up. Ilan was a very friendly and reliable person. We are very grateful for his help with this home improvement project. "I needed two exterior door jambs repaired on a historical home in Santa Ana. The bottom of the jambs, where they met the thresholds, were rotted and decayed. Additionally, there was possible damage to the bottom plate, trimmers, and king studs. I contacted McGee construction for the estimate. The estimate was more than fair so I accepted. Eric, the finish carpenter, came out and completed the repairs. He draped the room with plastic to protect the furniture, floors, and rest of the house. The repairs took three days and look fantastic. He was able to match up the new jambs to the existing arch doorways and thresholds. He recreated new casings to match the old door casings. Eric rehung the doors and the doors now open and close beautifully. Additionally, the new paint and stain matches the original. Good communication with the company, I was kept informed of the repairs, and they cleaned the job site everyday. i would hire them again without a doubt."
