I had just purchased my house in Syosset and did not know anyone in that area. I was glad that I met Ajay Contracting as they handled my job from start to finish including the drawings and permits. I admit I was nervous as this was my first major renovation but the job went great and their prices were very fair. They built a 2 room addition, remodeled 2 baths, basement and my kitchen and completed the job by the date promised. Thanks to all the men that worked on my house-very clean, courteous and great at what they do! Also congrats to Ajay Contacting on winning the 2009 Contractor of the Year award - you are the best.

Comment: To build two extensions to brick colonial house with a foot print of 25X40Ft. One extension on the back by 10 ft for the entire width for both floors, second in the front with dimensions of approximately 6x7 Ft. also for both floors. The extension on the back will allow to enlarge the kitchen on the 1st floor, laundry room in the basement and two bedrooms on the second floor. The extension in the front will increase the hallway on the first floor and master bathroom on the second floor. Also, the original 50-yr old slate roof must be replaced, and we would like to make part of the roof space a greenhouse/sun room, where we would grow plants. Therefore, the pluming will be required to be brought to this room. Since the kitchen will be extended, we would like to change the cabinetry, and floor. Since the configuration of two bedrooms on the second floor will change it will also require replacement of the hardwood floors.
