Comment: Addition to house (includes garage and 2nd floor bedroom) is pulling away from the main house structure. The assumption is that the dry summer last year caused the soil to pull away from the foundation. There's some 1/4 in cracks within some of the internal plaster walls as well. The garage pad was cracked when we moved in last year, and we think that it wasn't poured using deep enough footings or piers. There's also some sagging in the center of the house, which has been verified using laser levels from the ceiling joists in the basement.
