"Paul did an amazing job building and installing my cabinet doors. He was thorough and professional during the planning stage of this project and was patient with my change requests. His work is reasonably priced and he was very quick in turning around this project. His work is beautiful, he is terrific to deal with and I highly recommend him. "Integrity is the word that best describes Frank Marotta of Con-Tech construction. His work is beautiful because he has high standards. He communicates at every stage of the project because he wants the customer to be satisfied. I could not have wished for a better experience. Frank was here every day, personally overseeing every aspect of the project. The results are even better than I expected because Frank brought so much experience and care to the work. He has my highest recommendation."

"Mark had some good suggestions to make the hot water system better. His price was great and his initial bid included references. And, the old water heater was 24 years old and had a "ton" of sediment. Mark earned his money. Great guy who I would easily recommend to anyone replacing a hot water heater."

"I was very happy with this company. The workmanship was very professional and completed in a timely manner. Everyone I spoke to from Forth Sport Floors was courteous, helpful, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for any kind of flooring work that they need. And I would certainly use them again myself."

"Sergey and his crew were excellent. I had porcelain tile removed and installed. From start to finish I had absolutely no issues and the crew were so friendly and went above and beyond. They showed me how to adjust my water pressure and even helped carry in heavy patio furniture while they were here. The quality of work is amazing. Very professional. They were done ahead of schedule and I couldn't be happier with my new tile floor! I will absolutely hire them for any remodel or tile jobs I have in the future. I have zero complaints. Thanks for everything gentlemen."

"Artie was punctual, polite, professional and did exactly what he saud he would do for the quoted price. I found him via home advisor and was very happy with the end result. He did a fantastic job fixing our porch supports, replacing old columns and putting railings on the porch. His work was top quality. I would definitely hire him again."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
