Very quick and excellently priced work. I received a couple of estimates for my porch work. The first quote was for $3000 but he lowered the quote to $2700 if I gave him repeat business. Val-Arm quoted $1475 from the start and the work was excellent!

He was polite and helpful with the difficult decisions, and even came back to the house to perform a few requested "touch ups." Comment: Had a new driveway laced with brick and poured with colored concrete. The coloring was very inconsistent. Applied a solvent based stain to concrete. Stain bubbles up in some areas and then breaks, leaving what looks like small homes in concrete. Interested in an overlay or stain but must come with a guarantee that it will last. I never want to touch the concrete again after this repair and have wasted alot of money trying to fix a bad mix of concrete. Contractor refused to pay for re-work although they did admit it did not look good. They blamed the concrete company, concrete company blamed work crew, and around and around we go. I just want it fixed for good. If you do a nice job we will also let you do the entire back yard (all concrete and about 2,500 square feet. Driveways is probably 500 square feet.
