Comment: I live in a condo where the door (to my unit) doesn't close tightly due to a loose hinge. also, the deadbolt spins around freely. I got a quote from people who work with my buildings management & they quoted $650 + $150 labor. As this seems steep, I asked if I can get other estimates. They said it was fine with the following stipulations: -the cylinder has to remain keyed to the buildings master for emergency entrance -the hall side appearance of the new assembly has to match the existing color & style.

Comment: Hello, <br /> <br />The wood that our exterior door's strikeplate was screwed into has disintegrated to the point that the screws are falling out -- the lock bolt is no longer aligning properly to the loose strikeplate (so we have to shimmy the strikeplate around every time we want to lock the door). <br /> <br />Thanks!
