Richard Kessner is a trustworthy contractor who has an excellent flooring team that refinished my living room floor and replaced a sizable area of ceramic tile with parquet.. We also had a kick-plate installed under our kitchen cabinets. The paint job was initially sub-standard, but Richard acted in good faith and had the work corrected. Any dissatisfaction arose because his foreman was not actively supervising his workers, a fact which I pointed out to Richard. In the end, we were left with beautifully refinished floors and a decent paint job.

I would recommend NY Floorman BUT...workman was careless and I suggest supervision while job is being done. Richard Kessner was made aware of problem I had and responded quickly and appropriately indicating his concern about doing a job properly. Because of this I'm confident that this will not be a cause of concern in any job he does in the future.

The workers did a good job at installing the floors.They did cover any of the furniture as they were instructed to.They did do as we expected and we would recommend them to anyone.
