Dave came to my house yesterday to inspect and clean my chimney. When he got here he looked up the chimney and said that the chimney did not need a cleaning. I asked him what to do about smoke backing up in the house and he suggested putting on chimney caps which i wanted to do anyway. He and his assisstant Alex were very professional and helpful. I found Dave to be a very honest and truthful guy and I would recommend him to anyone. He said that he would only have to come back in 3 years to check it again. The price for the guaranteed for life chimney caps was very reasonable.

Walt and April are a phenomenal team, both very well versed in the world of chimney and masonry repairs. My 200 year old house had an unlined chimney and disintegrating mortar. Even though I was not thrilled to have to do this repair, I was happy to have a team who had experience in older homes and the ability to provide advice from a functional and safety standpoint. Their price was reasonable, the job was done quickly and without any disruption to the comings and goings of my home, and seven months later, I am still thrilled with the work. I would not hesitate to use Island Chimney again.
