Comment: I have a limestone retaining wall that was built with my house in the 50's. It has shifted drastically and is no longer retaining any dirt. It is somewhere between 55-58 feet long, approximately 1 1/2 feet tall. This wall runs on the property line (with the stone on my side--i.e. bottom of the hill and the fence on my neighbors i.e. top of the hill). Point being, there is a fence that runs through the retaining wall and two gates. I would really like to stay with the natural look (though I do NOT want limestone) but I want an affordable project which will provide me with stability, structure (for the fence) proper drainage (which I am currently not getting, and all the other things a retaining wall is suppose to give a person.
