Comment: We bought our home in January, and initially really liked the white refinished cabinets that the previous owners had done. Unfortunately, the paint is chipping in places, and the white is just so hard to keep clean. The kitchen is not huge, a typical galley style with top and bottom cabinets. The original cabinets were stained wood I believe. I'm not sure that they stripped the stain before painting over them with white paint.
