Two brick chimnies required partial tuckpointing. One chimney was starting to suffer internal damage from water infiltration. Scott located the problem and made the necessary repairs. He installed a flu cap to prevent further damage. Tuckpointing is always a dirty process. Scott managed the dust and dirt as well as could be expected using drop cloths and a vacuum. I hosed down the affected roof area when the work was complete. Scott also repaired a damaged, 50 year old brick wall. That was more difficult but the job turned out well.

Comment: Some of the windows on my house are wooden casement windows (swing-open style). One of these windows' frames has deteriorated so bad that the glass is in danger of falling out. I need someone, with finish-carpentry skills to fabricate a new wooden frame for the window. To my knowledge, this would need to be done off of a ladder or scaffold. I do not know how to take the window off of the hinge and would prefer someone with experience working with this particular style of window to do that. If the window can be taken off of the hinges then maybe just a ladder would be needed and the fabrication can be done on the ground. Upon calling, please let me know how much carpentry experience you have. Thank you.
