"Bill did a great job. He was very punctual and finished in the timeframe that he said he would. We work from home and he was respectful to those obligations as not to be disruptive to our work. His work was superior and he cleaned up everything. He reviewed the project prior to starting and then recapped at the end. Billâ s professionalism and workmanship were top of the line. "perplexing job to start. Two breakers kept popping. I replaced the breakers but still had the problem. I called mountain top and he returned my call within minutes. He arrived at the promised time and worked non stop until he found the problem, tracing different wires and circuits until he found the problem in the attic. once he found the problem it was corrected it quickly. I would recommend this electrician to anyone who wants quality work from a really great young man."

"Ty went over an above in every category . He answered his phone , showed up on time , diagnosed an issue with with current ceiling fan and repaired it. He also discovered that their were two bad switches that caused the failure in the first place. He saved me over $300 by me not having to buy a new ceiling fan. I would recommend TY for any electrical project. Good young man !"

"Glenn and his team were super awesome and professional throughout the process of installing 4 fans and 6 recess lights. They were punctual and respectful of my home... Cleaned up at the end of everyday. Price was below what others were charging for the same job and quality of work was beyond my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other electrical and wiring projects. Thank you Glen."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesReading Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 646 reviews of 646 pros.
