"Bill Staniscia was responsive, professional, and performed quality work. He had to remove bushes and a cracked sidewalk. He is studded out the frame for the larger sidewalk to the house. He laid stone for the foundation and his son tamped it. Then they poured the cement. I love it!!. It is beautiful and makes the curb appeal better. Thank you, Bill!"

"Neat, clean, professional and timely. A well run family business with a bunch of real nice people. The price was equal to competitors but the service and finished product is outstanding. I love our new Quartz counter tops and so does my wife. I made the right choice to go with them. Life is good. Thanks Wentzel family! Bob and MaryAnn (Gigi and Buddy also)"

"Jim is such a down to earth, honest, guy. It shines through in everything he does! He is an advocate when fighting with insurance companies to get coverage. He follows through, even when its an issue with a different contractor. He will jump right in and try to remedy whatever the situation is. We met Jim 5 years ago when we moved and needed a bathroom redone. We have had so many things happen since then and he has just been a blessing in my families eyes. I dont know what we would do without him! I recommend this company all the time and would recommend them to anyone searching for services!"

"Dean was very prompt and professional for all of our meetings. He took detailed notes for the painters who would be doing this job as it was a somewhat customized paint job (specific rooms and features). He also gave some free advice on other home improvement options for us as we found out that his company can do almost any type of home improvements! We received friendly reminders of any upcoming meetings, possible changes to start and finnish dates for the job, and a free color consultation that was also very helful. The painters worked at a steady pace and quiet as mice. We hardly knew they were there!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
