Comment: I live in a '58 pier & beam home in NW Richardson. Comment: I would like to tear down the wall between the kitchen and living room. This wall may be structural (if it is, I don't mind having columns or other things to support the home) and definitely has plumbing and electric running through it. The plumbing for both the washing machine and fridge are in this wall. I would like the fridge moved, and both the washer and dryer moved to a hall closet. I want a kitchen makeover with new cabinets, counters, new fridge where the oven used to be, and the oven under a new stove top. I want the counters to wrap around the kitchen in a backwards C configuration and I want an island added. I want new floors throughout the house, cosmetic makeover of the 2 bathrooms, and a cosmetic makeover of the outside. I probably need new windows, and insurance will cover the cost of a new roof.
