Comment: When I purchased my home, the inspector indicated that the foundation was in OK state but could use some work. There is a pillar near the center of the house that is resting on a slope, and the base of it is wearing away. The front of the house is on wood pile rather than concrete, and the rest of the foundation is concrete bricks but only part of the foundation is actually mortared together.
