About us: "Affordable Energy Concepts LLC was created with the intent of being an affordable alternative for homeowners. We'll pretty much do anything as long as it makes your home more energy efficient and more comfortable to live in. Our services include but are not limited to: insulation, airsealing, blower door testing, minor moisture mitigation, venting bath fans/clothes dryers, door & window repair, etc . We're not really the "typical" insulation company. When we do an estimate, it's actually more of a heat loss audit.We perform a blower door test to determine how many CFM (cubic feet of air per minute) are moving through your home. This test also allows us to visibly see and feel air leakage. We use these findings to make suggestions as to what areas would be best addressed. After the work is completed, we do another blower door test to determine the exact reduction in CFM. If we can reduce the CFM in your home, we're also reducing the amount of air that you'll need to heat and cool."
