My foundation was sinking and the bricks had stairstep cracking and seperatng. Carolina Foundation Solutions came out and evaluated the problems and gave me the options. They were very professional and do not employ high pressure sales tactics. The workers installed 2 spears and raised the corner of my house back to it's original location. They were very neat and professional, they left the yard and work area in as good of a condition as it was before the work started. I would recommend they to anyone who may have foundation issues.

Comment: The only observed evidence are a crack in the brick front of the house and the interior walls for the same area area. Assume water drainage or runoff is the culprit. At a minimum the repairs need to prevent further damage; restoration cost would determine whether additional work needs to be done

Comment: There is greater than typical settlement cracking of the concrete slab of the front porch. Due to this being settlement of the porch only, and not noted in the dwelling, we will NOT require a structural inspection. But we will require a licensed, qualified general contractor to repair/level the concrete slab for the front porch and patch the crack. The work must be done professionally and in a workman-like manner. Patching the crack only will not be sufficient. The slab must be leveled again.
