"Daniel and his colleague did a great job! Initially, they installed lighting fixtures, but then I decided to install recessed lighting instead. Before he returned to do another job, we discussed the kinds of fixtures and placement. His follow up and communication was great throughout. He completed the job and I was extremely satisfied with how it turned out. Am thinking of other jobs he can do! UPDATE 4/10/2019: This is the third time that I have hired Daniel. He is always the consummate professional. Very easy to work with. Will deliver exactly as promised and does excellent work. In addition to installing 6 recessed lights, he moved and installed a fan and replaced another fan in a different room."

"Excellent work! Fast, professional and reasonably priced. Came out the next day, checked out the layout and gave us a reasonable quote. Work was done in one day with beautiful results. Removed old kitchen soffit lighting and old wiring, drywalled and finished the enclosure, installed a second switch, put in 4 LED downlights and under cabinet lighting, all in one day."

"Got electrical needs? I strongly recommend that you call this company for a quote at least. Amit the owner and his crew are polite, professional and reliable. After other electricians were quoting me ridiculous prices to install under cabinet lighting, Amit stopped by, gave me a reasonable price and even performed my lighting installation that same day. Lights were working well until I found a faulty switch which had nothing to do with their installation. But Amit sent someone from his crew on another day and kindly fixed the problem switch, no charge. Thank you PHEC!"

"Luis did an excellent job installing 5 interior lights and a lighted fan in our home. He was prompt, did work completely and quickly, and advised us to make some changes to the wiring that really helped. His estimate was fair and clear and he cleaned up well. I give him my highest rating for any electrical work."

"Christian assessed the situation in our initial conversation over the phone the same evening I placed the request. He was able to come the next day with the part required and was able to remedy the situation quickly and excellently and told me a few things I did not know before about older electrical panels. I would call him again."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
