Comment: I put a claim into our insurance for our rental home. The Insurance adjuster that looked at the home said the repairs would be minimal and less than our deductible. Over the winter the flashing (?) around the chimney vent on the roof moved and allowed water in. This in turned leaked into the closet in the master bedroom. Services needed: calk the outside so no moisture will continue to leak anti bacterial spray in the rafters (this is a ranch style home) near the leak so no mold or mildew fix the ceiling - about 1ft by 2ft piece of drywall Paint ceiling and small (very small) area of wall where water leaked down Not in a huge rush, but with rain and storm season upon us, it would be nice to have fixed in the near future. Prefer a licensed contractor.
