Comment: Hi - we have newer windows throughout except for kitchen and attic. It appears that the frames were not considered when the windows were replaced, possibly for historic reasons (the frames still have the hinge brackets for wooden shutters). Minimally, they'll need to be stripped, primed, and painted, but there's probably some repair and possible replacement to be done. The house is due for new stucco, too, and it seems to make sense to do the windows first ...? If you can come take a look this week, that would help a lot -- Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. I might be interested in having the soffits addressed, and if you're interested in the jobs, the casement windows in the attic probably should be replaced. And there's a roof/ceiling leak in the bathroom... Old farmhouses are so charming!!!
