Comment: We had our home inspection done and these are two electrical related issues that to be corrected. 1) The GFCI receptacle is aged and does not respond to instrument or manual trip functions (sump pump). It is recommended that this electrical outlet be replaced by a qualified, professional electrician to insure safe operation. 2) One outlet in the basement has been wired incorrectly by reversing the "hot" and "neutral" wire connections (basement). This condition can cause some electrical appliances to malfunction or compromise their safety. It is recommended that the connections on all electrical outlets in the basement be checked and corrected as needed.
