Comment: Looked at a house for sale I'm interested in making an offer on. Floor in one room appeared sloped toward the corner, checked in basement and there two cracks, one on each side of one of the corners extending from top to bottom of foundation wall, each about 4 ft from the corner; cracks are more than a quarter inch wide. Don't know if cracks go all the way through the blocks. I'd like an idea of the extent of the damage/needed repair and rough ball park estimate to repair. Would like before I actually make an offer, just in case I should walk away and not offer at all. If it's not HORRIBLE, and I make an offer, I'd also be having a regular home inspection done, too.
