Comment: I own a condo in a 3-unit Victorian bldg that had some updated lighting already installed when I bought it. The lights in the entryway have a large transformer that was also installed with them but it seems to be having problems. When bulbs started burning out a couple months ago, I would replace them, but they would immediately pop & burn out after being put in. And now I notice that they flicker and there is a buzzing/humming noise coming from the transformer. So I don't think that the transformer was properly sized for the lights that attach to it. I would like to hire a licensed electrical contractor who will be able to ensure that the transformer that is installed is sized properly and if not replace it so that the lights that run off it will work correctly. Thanks!
