Comment: I have a 675 SF apartment in New York City which is an alcove studio currently. I want to build a real (not pressure wall) closet that would divide the living area and the bedroom. The length of closet would be 8 feet. The remaining gap would be a real wall (not pressure wall) of another 2 feet, and then a door. I have the giant mirrored closet doors where the current closet is (and which requires no further work), so can save money on track and closet doors. The door would provide entrance to bathroom (a few feet away) and a second door would be at right angle, which would be actual entrance to the bedroom. The current door of bathroom would be removed. I have bi-fold doors so perhaps could use those as doors (given the tight spaces)
