"3 stars at best, for the work they DID finally complete, 2 stars overall. Attitude-wise, I'd give them 1.5 stars. Took 6 mos for a 2-month extensive home remodel project (Menu allowed only "windows, went through 4 crews, left trash & never cleaned up. Worse, they left the workplace (my home while living in the loft) vacant weeks on end, no work done at all. They'd promise to come up then didn't, and would not notify me until I called repeatedly. They charged extra for work they already contracted for, and in the end, left the job only 85% done, including failed or omitted trim on high-end cabinets, paint smears and even masking tape on seams and beams, and had one of their crew run off with my shop vac. Jay Cantrell is NO builder, he has no employed crew, and hires anyone he can grab, which probably explains the overall crappy job. Still, if he has his crew together and you have a modest-sized project, his ended-up costs are mid range, as is the quality of what he DID get done."
