After the recommendation of Home Advisor for an electrical outlet repair in Palm Bay, Fl., I contacted 3D Power. They scheduled about a week, out which was fine. Upon arrival I explained what I thought the problem was. It was a TRIPPED GFI outlet which I had reset. They tested it and it had tripped again so they reset it. Total time on site, Approx. 15 Minutes! Problem fixed. I Promptly received an invoice via e-mail in the amount of $ 150.00!! I e-mailed back and questioned how they arrived at that amount. Answer: Minimum Service Call To Palm Bay. Ok, I learned my lesson. A little more research before hiring a pro from Home Advisor. THIS COMPANY IS BASED OUT OF TITTUSVILLE,FL. (52 miles from Palm Bay). So, PLEASE do more research when hiring a pro on ANY Site. WHEN A COMPANY SAYS THAT THEY "SERVICE" AN AREA, DOUBLE CHECK. I will be reporting (To Home Advisor) the fact that they do not state the minimum fee for service to the area reported as covered.
Response by 3rd Power: John , We are sorry you didn't, feel the Service call rate was fair. This is our standard 125$ rate, for the first hour ,plus a 25$ dollar trip charge. (Which is mentioned on our page). Service is hourly. In some cases the repair is simple and sometimes they take a lot longer, yours was a simple 1. When you called us , had you asked for our rates ,we would have readily given them to you, along with any discounts you may qualify for. And Will still offer ,if you qualify. 3rd Power did good work but I thought they were too expensive.
Response by 3rd Power: We are sorry you feel this way. We try to provide quality service at a competitive rate. That being said we did make two trips out to your house which is an hour and 20 minutes from our shop and we never charged, you a trip charge in addition to that, I only charged you an hour on my first visit when I was there for almost two. Please accept a 15% discount on your next service call. We look forward two retaining your business.

I had 3rd Power install a light up vanity mirror in a room we recently converted into a closet. He did a wonderful job with the electrical work but was unable to fully install the mirror due to a spacing issue caused by the company we had install the closet. He had installed everything I asked and attaching the mirror to the mount was very simple but a matter of having our closet contractors come back out to move up a floating shelf above the mirror. He said he would have moved the shelf for me but it was a two man job. I noticed the next day there was some minor damage to the molding around the closest shelving. I called and he came back that day to fix it. Since he had his colleague with him he said as an act of good faith he would move up the shelving for me. I was very pleased with my service and understood that accidents happen, but they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. The contractors I hired for the closet would not have been able to come out till Monday, so I wouldn't have been able to utilize the vanity until then. Because of their great customer service and proactive solution I was able to use the vanity today (Friday). The price was very reasonable and the job was done quickly. I definitely recommend 3rd Power and will be using them again for any future electrical needs we have.

Very responsive. Responded to my initial inquiry in a half hour on a Friday afternoon and was quoting the job by Monday morning. The job was actually done four days later. The team (Dave and Shane) was professional and courteous. After running into some unexpected difficulties they showed great diligence and completed the installation to my expectations without cutting corners. They left the worksite areas clean and neat upon completion. I would use this company again. My rating for monetary value is based upon the quote as I am awaiting an invoice at this time.
