A-1 Chimney Sweep & Dryer Vent Service, LLC

This company advertised false services which I hired them to perform but instead paid $200 for a Chimneys inspection which was not performed. Phil the supervisor, told me my request call will be listened to and someone will be in touch to follow up on my concern. It has been more than a week and no one reached out. This company should be shut down - it is a fraud

Rodney from A-1 Chimney Sweep was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He worked efficiently at clearing my dryer vent, made sure the work was done and even fixed a problem with a vent that cost him more time. I would recommend A-1 and Rodney.

Very fast/efficient. He inspected and provided a report. Seemed a bit pricey for an inspection without cleaning but it was needed for our move-out obligations on our lease. He did provide a military discount which is nice. I would certainly recommend him for additional services!

Rodney was terrific and very professional, our flue was off track which he kindly fixed and then did a thorough chimney inspection. He was very helpful and provided suggestions without pushing any unnecessary services. Highly recommend and will use again!

On-time, reasonable rate and good communications

I hired Mr. Barnes to clean my dryer vent. The last person I had did a poor job, so I was not optimistic. Mr. Barnes is courteous, professional, and most importantly, extremely competent. I have a 3L TH and he agreed he had to go on my roof to do a good job (dryer on 3rd level). It worked! Rodney is one of the few good contractors I've actually found. He seems ethical, honest and did a great job for a fair price. I was very impressed and will be contacting him again first for any jobs, just in case he will do them. Was difficult to reach in order to schedule a time for typical cleaning/inspection, but once we got it sorted out Rodney was in and out in a timely fashion. Also left everything very clean.

very professional and on time. Cleaned my fireplace and the dryer vent. Was a little bit more expensive for the fireplace cleaning than other companies but job well done.
