Jimmy was very responsive in answering my call. He came by to see what repairs were needed. He explained what my options were and gave me the choice of choosing. He provided a verbal and written estimate after I made my choice. We made the appointment for him to replace my roof and they were on the job very early and worked all day. Throughout the entire process he was very informative and provided pictures to show what was transpiring as they progressed. Jimmy and his crew did a great job, he used the best materials and promised that my roof will not leak but if it does leak he will come back and make the repairs. they also did a superb job of cleaning up all debris that came from the old roof. He was very nice to work with and I would call him again and recommend him to anyone looking to work on their roof. Thank you Jimmy

Sorry I could only list one category, because Jimmy and his crew did the roof, siding and paving. Working with Jimmy was the best experience and at a fabulous price. I live on a main road and more than a month after the work was completed, people are still complimenting the work and asking if I have business cards. My house looks completely new. I cannot stress enough the excellence of the job and the experience. Highly recommend!!!

Hired AL Best Construction to tear-out and replace our half shingle half flat roof. Jimmy and his crew were very professional, experienced and well equipped. Constant communication updates provided throughout the process was the best we have ever experienced from any contractor to date. There were daily status photos, videos & verbal updates keeping us in the know at all times: Nice touch! Despite rain delays, Jimmy and his crew worked to keep the project sight clean, hazard free and completed in a timely manner. We will definitely refer AL Best Construction to others. Excellent experience!

The work done was completely neat, and they arrived on time. Workers are polite. Most definitely I would recommend this company. Great job.

Jimmy Al-Best only cares about money. His business ethics are poor. He has a very arrogant attitude and does not like to listen to his customers or fix his mistakes. I contracted him to do a job at the beginning of August, signed a contract and he did not begin the work until almost a month later and did not contact me until the weekend before the job was to begin. His workers cut my security cameras and when I told him about it, he stated that it was no big deal because they were old anyway. He used my electricity and ran up my light bill to over $400 in one month. He charged me an extra $2,000 to install two front doors and bought the security door from home depot for $236 and the inside door for around $450. He installed the door and put in no door jams, so we have to physically use our body to close the door on the inside, and use our bodies to push it open from the outside when I inquired about what I was charged that amount for, he stated it was for labor. So what was the overall quote for $40,000 for? Should not that have been included? He wrote down on the contract that I was supposed to get bluestone steps, and he forced me to get granite a much cheaper material because when he went to purchase the steps they were more expensive than he expected, so he told me that he would be losing money on the job if he gave me what we agreed on. He took off the entire front of my house because the frame for the door was crooked. He rebuilt it, my window and door are still crooked. He left my job undone to go start a bigger job, and now I have a brand new roof with no gutters. The pavers that were installed are poorly done and not sealed. I have exposed wires left in the front where the light fixtures should be. When he came for us to go over the list of things he did not want to hear the problems and did not want to rectify the issues either. After going over the list of things that needed to be repaired he did not say when he would be coming back to fix them, but instead asked me for more money. When I told him, money is not an issue and he would get it once the work is done, he canceled my gate and fence and left my home and has since refused to come and finish his job. I have attempted to contact him several times and he has refused to give me a time when he would complete the work. The craftmanship of the brickwork is poor, huge gaps in the concrete, uneven walls, the list goes on. Do not hire this man, you will regret it.
