OMGoodness. Alonso and his employee Patrick blew me away with the results. :-) My acoustic12" square ceiling tiles in a 9' square area were at a point that if you breathed too hard, they were going to fall down - it was that bad. I called and interviewed SEVERAL handymen, acoustic so-called experts, recommendations from friends and neighbors. After Alonso came out the first time, I knew he was the one because he didn't hesitate telling me what no one else told me. He said that since I didn't have any extra ceiliing tiles, and my ceiling was 59 years old, he and his crew would make the best effort they could to use the existing tiles (which were still in amaziing shape-just not anchored to the old ceiling anymore) to make it look pretty again. He still warned me with the age of the existing tiles, you never know what could happen. No one else could make that promise. Everyone just right off the bat said that those acoustic ceiling tiles had to come down and a regular ceiling would need to go up, on an average of $1,100 for a new bedroom ceiling. I talked it over with my husband and sent Alonso a text that my husband was going to try to fix it. He just figured he could re-attach them with glue and it would be good as new. Several weeks went by and husband was in no hurry to try it. I called Alonso and he came out the next day ! I really didn't expect him to start work that day, but was pleased as punch that he and Patrick got to it. They removed a few tiles and didn't want to take the chance that maybe one or two could not be saved. He left Patrick at the house to start prepping the skinny strips of wood above the tiles by removing nails and staples left behind. Alonso went to several places, but after 59 years, no one makes those 12" acoustic tiles anymore. Alonso came back and advised that Patrick would work with what was there. In the meantime, Patrick had cleaned up the debris that had fallen out. Patrick was in no rush. I sat on the piano bench just outside the bedroom and watched this magician go to work. He took his time with each and every tile and trimmed and made them ready to just slide into each other with glue . It was truly a piece of art to see this man work. He did have to drill in just a few screws between the tiles to further secure them. He finished those off with caulk/wood putty. When my painters do the ceiliing, it won't be noticable. Alonso said he would be at the house at 9:30 and arrived a few minutes early which is surprising because I live in Sharpstown and their shop is far away. Their bid was VERY fair and he tacked on another $10 for the glue and another piece of skinny wood to anchor a row of tiles. I gladly paid that extra $10. In addition, I tipped Patrick. Alonso's company name is Acoustic Ceiling KINGS and they truly are the KINGS. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone. You won't be disappointed. Sincerely, PJ Brewer

They came when they promised, did an excellent job on our 18 foot ceilings, for a very reasonable price, finished the job when promised, and cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate to refer them and we plan to hire them again.
