I’m no spring chicken, so over the years I have learned, at least much more often than not, to recognize someone who is genuine and someone whose motives are not in my best interest. Patrick, the owner of the Akron Windows Company is a straight shooter, and I say that with 100% full confidence. I had a couple other window companies come out to give estimates on the windows in the house my sister lives in. The first guy was through and likeable, but by the time he left he had quoted me a price for windows, and they were good ones, that was astronomical. He did measure the windows and had an impressive show-and tell-display He was trying to sell me the moon, which wasn’t necessary for the house itself. The second person didn’t even measure. He only counted the windows. I wrote him off right away. Unprofessional. The third guy was Patrick from Akron Windows Company, and man I am sure glad I called him. I could tell right away he was a straight shooter. He assessed the situation, told me only what was necessary, explained the whole process, and was 5000 dollars lower than the first guy. Patrick was my choice. I could recognize an honest businessman who is not trying to take advantage of you and was interested in doing a great job at a fair price. That is exactly what he did He and his crew put the windows in—just as he said they would—and they look beautiful. No bull. I haven’t one once of feeling I didn’t get a quality job at a good price. I don’t usually wax poetic about contractors, but I guarantee if you hire AWC—in short, the owner Patrick—you will not be disappointed. So nice to deal with someone who is ethical and professional, and you can tell is a good human being.
