Reviews
Write a ReviewMartin and his team did a fantastic job for us. We had a vintage front door we wanted for an ADU project and the process from bidding to an after-installation adjustment went really well. There was a miscommunication regarding the door (my fault) and when I called Martin I was expecting some push back. Instead he said "sure no problem" and was back in no time. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Great communication through the entire process. Took all necessary safety precautions during these crazy times - wore masks, kept his social distance during viewing, quote etc. Professional, timely and did great work. We are super happy with our new Dutch Door - install went very smoothly!
The company gave an estimate and they worked with it, without adding anything at the end. They were very honest.
Was very disappointed. Cannot recommend this company.
Very good, but expensive.
Iron Door Installation: I truly appreciate their attention to detail and the way they executed the install of my door. Very pleased with Martin and his team.
We could not be happier with Martin's work. We ordered cabinets doors and drawers to reface cabinets in two of our bathrooms. Martin did an excellent job from beginning to end .... kept us informed about his start plans, arrived on time each day, , kept the work area and access routes very clean, did an excellent job of installing the doors and drawers and offered us a very fair price. They hit a few hiccups (not their fault ... just the trials associated with remodeling existing cabinetry) and dealt with them easily and with no headaches for us. He and Amador were a delight to have in our home . .. very considerate and polite. We would definitely recommend them and will hire them again for installation work in the future!
High prices and poor workmanship of a custom door installation - * He split newly installed wood jams and refused to replace them. * Cut width on the non-working door too short then unevenly planned the T-astragal leaving an uneven nonstandard gap that varies from 1/8 to 3/8 inches. * Improperly installed locks so doors now are uneven and shakes. * Bent hinges in an attempt to close center gaps . * Gaps in weatherproofing leaving the door drafty. *Had us to buy dummy knob, but won't return to install them. * Refuses to complete the job and refuses to make any adjustment of his work. Paid him $1700 exclusive of staining. Informed us that he had a good staining person at a good price then tried to steer me to a person who wanted $1600 to stain the doors. * He tries to use the 7 day staining and sealing exclusion clause of the DOOR'S MANUFACTORY warranty as a defense for defective workmanship item that are not related to staining or sealing. * Falsely accuses me of harassing him when I call or send emails. Today told me he is afraid of his life because I threaten him when he BEGAN the job.
Just want to comment on this customer. Gaps on doors expanded due to doors not being sealed within 7 days of installation this is typical on all doors. I warned the customer about situation and even went out of my way to find him a painter that can do this for him but he refused to pay his prices and was trying to haggle him and low ball him but the painter just said it was not worth his time. We voided the warranty on his installation as we clearly state on our proposals that materials need to be protected from the elements within 7 days to avoid these issues. Please budget your projects properly and allow for painting or clear coating after
They arrived on time took my order and within a few weeks had the doors manufactured and professional installed in a matter of a few hours. Cleaned up the work place and left.
Martin & his helper were very personable, professional & proficient! We now consider them our official handymen for all future home project needs.
