I lost my job and was a few months away from being forced to sell my home for a loss. My wife and I were making enough money daily to spend it all on food and other necessities for our 1 year old daughter. Our AC went out in the middle of summer and we were completely broke. I called around and every other place would take 3 to 4 days to come out and would charge $150 just to diagnose it. I called AL and was up front about my situation and told him I wouldn't be able to pay him - he said don't worry, we'll get it figured out. He came out that day, fixed the issue, charged only $85 and told me to just pay him when I can. I even offered him a brand new unopened Roomba vacuum as a thank you and he wouldn't accept it. He told me to sell it so I can have a little money. It's now about 9 months later and we're back on our feet. We've been taking care of debts to collectors who have been harassing us, making threats to take legal action and what not. An automated system every once in a while would just send the invoice as a reminder and that's it. I finally paid it today - added an extra $215 as a tip. It should be more but that's all I can do. Al, you didn't have to help me and my family. I didn't expect anyone to knowing I wouldn't be able to pay. You're a great man. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Communication was good from first call to ordering parts, scheduling install and completion. It all went smooth. Pricing was competitive, if not better than his competition. I couldn't believe they showed up an hour and a half after my first contact through Homeadvisor. It was late in the afternoon but Alex came at 6 pm anyway and left after dark! He checked my furnace out carefully, and made an inexpensive repair that solved the problem. He made sure to explain the problem and his fix so I would understand. As a woman, I really appreciate that kind of respect.

I was having problems with my air conditioning. I first had the people that installed my unit come out and take a look. They charged me $155 and did not fix the problem. Then I called Al's AC and Heating Service. He charged me $150 after only one visit and my air is now working. I recommend him to anyone experiencing issues.
