Reviews
Write a ReviewFelix and his brother are. Very professional and meticulous with their work . They want to make sure their customers are happy and will do whatever it takes to achieve that! They are very organized and clean up after themselves, and I recommend their services to anyone that is looking for quality tile work !
Very professional, focused on customer satisfaction, quality work.
We are thrilled with our backsplash. Felix is a very skilled perfectionist. He and his crew were professional and meticulous. Felix communicated with me every step of the way, never left me waiting for a response when I had a question, and provided excellent advice when I wasn't sure what color edging or grout to choose. If we have any tile projects in the future, he's my first call.
American Alfa Tile Inc. gave us a competitive quote, showed up on time, and did excellent work. Also, they are polite and clean up their mess when the job is completed! We will call them again for our next tile job!
They came when they said they would stayed until the job was finished also communicated with me Al the time Felix the owner was easy to work with and his brother really knows his trade when it comes to tile work definitely higher them again
We are so very happy with the work that was done. These guys are passionate about doing things the right way and have a very artistic eye for how it should be done. Trust that they can take your vision and complement it as well.
These guys do great work! I will be calling them again for my next tile install
Amazing work done by this company. I have recommended their services to many and will be using them again shortly in the future. Thank you for all you have done.
I hired Felix in the Spring of 2021 to demo and tile 4 bathrooms at a Lakewood Ranch property that I owned. In the end the finished product was very nice. Only problem is it took completely starting over on one bathroom and constant supervision to get the job done in any acceptable timeframe, if at all. This gentleman is a great tiler, no question about it. He has the skill. But what he has in talent is extremely outweighed by what he lacks in character. With all that said, I still recommended him to a friend who has many projects to further Felix?s career. Throughout the rest of the year I followed his progress and saw that he was doing quite well working for this other gentleman. Sure there were a few hiccups I would here about now and then, but for the most part it seemed that my previous experience with Mr. Martinez was a one off and he had gotten himself together. Fast forward to March 2022, I had another job come up. Against my better judgement, I was told Felix is available and I gave him another chance. Just like the previous project, it started off well. A whole lot of enthusiasm and promises. This time however, it became clear very early on that I had made an enormous mistake. How big, I could have never dreamed. At first it was the tile going through his back window of his truck that put him behind. Then it was his accident, that in his defense I don?t believe was his fault. Then he?s leaving early everyday for appointments or not showing up at all. Or showing up at 1pm and working til 2:30pm. About a month in I sat down with Felix to discuss this timeframe issue. I explained exactly the position I was in and how important it was that we tried to limit just how behind he was and how little I could afford to go any further behind. As he has done before, he said all the right things. It?s always poor me and his behavior doesn?t change at all. In fact, it worsened. Anytime I asked him anything or brought up a concern I was ?pressuring? him. Or ?threatening?, or whatever else he will say to get out of taking responsibility for anything. By the time this recent job had finished, Felix was well beyond 6 weeks overdue. Out of 4 bathrooms I have one that?s white porcelain, with purple all throughout the grout from where he uses permanent markers to mark cuts and doesn?t clean it off. He says they are not permanent (They are. I have found them.) Next the gray porcelain bathroom. (By far his best) Only problem there is the, again, permanent marker line that stretches half the length of the shower floor. In fact the last thing Felix ever said to me as he was leaving the last day was, here is a magic eraser pad. That mark should come right off. It didn?t! Next the black Calcutta tile bathroom. It?s an amazing tile, that is just breathtaking. What is not breathtaking is when the Glaser comes to install the glass doors and one shower wall is pregnant. Now incase you don?t know, crooked walls are bad, pregnant are way worse. Last but certainly not least was the 4th bathroom that he was ?finishing up? as I went out of town with my wife for the weekend. Let?s just say I fired Felix when I got back, then had to bring him back to finish the bathroom because it was so bad no other tiler would touch it. He agreed to finish it, but took zero responsibility for his inability to see the tiles were not the same size. Make matters worse, after he was long gone, during pictures it was noticed he installed a piece of floor tile in that was from a different bathroom. But if that?s not bad enough, my biggest issue with Felix is a few weeks into this job, he backed his tailgate into the coping of my paver porch. Didn?t admit doing it until I asked and informed him I saw it on the Ring doorbell. He would go in to never fix it. I spent days of my time learning how and fixing it myself. So by the time this is all done. Market cools, and this gentleman has without a doubt cost me 100?s of thousands.
Great job
