They were initially very responsive and knocked out the first part of the work to install board and batten in a mudroom area. They also took on another small job, for which I paid them at the time. However, they needed to come back to finish the job and caulk, prime, and paint the board and batten. I was super flexible regarding their return, and the girlfriend (the scheduler) initially made a couple of excuses via text when trying to get them back in, and then they just stopped responding to me. After many, many attempts to contact them, I finally tried to contacted. Initially, said they would send someone in to do the painting (we are talking about 2 hours at the most), and I thanked them. Then, for some reason, everything changed, began to give me a huge runaround, saying that the project did not exist. I sent them a screen shot of the project. Then they came back and said sorry; the project was 424 days old and therefore could not address the issue. The work request was in May of 23; it is now July of 23 (less than 60 days in total). Thirteen emails later, I get a Your project has been updated message and nothing more. I cannot believe that AnteCarpentry would have risked a bad review over such a minimal amount of work, but here we are. I would have bent over backward (and did) over scheduling to accommodate their schedule, but not even a call or a text back. As far as is concerned, my issue changed hands several times in customer support, and it looked as if the responses were supplied by a bot. I am a Realtor in this area, and going forward, I will have to forewarn my clients and colleagues about the service.

Matthew is an extremely professional carpenter. He installed the baseboards in my basement and they look amazing! He stayed in constant contact and was very punctual! I would definitely recommend him for your next project!

They showed up on time. They communicated with me before the work. They came to assess what needed to be done, and then went for supplies, and finished the job within the time alloted for which I hired them. The work was really good quality.

    We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them.
  8. Liens Search
    We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
  9. Identity Verification (SSN)
    HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
  10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
    We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
