The work was well done, but the tech left two of our basement windows wide open (to get rid of the soldering smell). We didn't discover it for several days; it was a little disconcerting.

The first technician missed a vital clue to the actual problem but the company corrected the problem and I eventually found the problem. The technician needs to be reminded to check for the primary power to the unit.

Did not fix furnace but said they did. All they wanted was my money. Serviceman lied and didn?t have a clue how to fix it. Now I have to have someone else come and fix it.
Response by AquaStar Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, LLC: Dear Sir, Here's the exact notes recorded by our technician while he was there.--- Customer had a few issues that needed to be looked at. 1. Furnace not staying lit. During the furnace operations it short cycle a few time, cutting out when the burners cut on. Dirty flame sensor appeared to be the issue. Customer said they would be able to clean it themselves. 2. Second floor bed room not getting heat. Dresser was right up against vent causing air to be blocked. 3. Banging and winning noise. Inducer made noise. Recommend inducer change soon. Venting expands due to blower kicking on which caused banging noise.--- Not only did the serviceman correctly diagnose the issues, he provided a detailed estimate of what the needed repairs were and how much they would cost. Additionally, if the repairs had been done as proposed, the dispatch fee would have been waived completely. We were told by the lady of the house that you could take care of the repair. She did not allow us to perform any corrective measures. Apparently, based on this review, the two of you never discussed this decision that she made. We rescheduled to come back out two days later to perform corrections after you called and expressed your concern that nothing was done. When we attempted to come out, you cancelled the visit and we again were not allowed to perform any corrective measures. So, in regards to our Quality, you cannot rate that because we were not allowed to do anything. In regards to Customer Service, we did all we could on our end, but were not allowed to do the work that we are trained to do (by the way, each tech in our company is required to train over 250 per year, or they will be unemployed with our company. NO OTHER COMPANY IN OUR AREA HAS THIS REQUIREMENT) In regards to the Value for Money, again, you don't know because we were not able to give anything but a diagnosis. We believe, given the chance, we would have been 5 stars across the board. We are still willing and anxious to do so and will still use the dispatch fee toward the repairs.
