The product is great. The technician was great. The office communication was a bit lacking and we had some miscommunication but were able to get things straight and the tub looks great. Would likely hire/recommend them again

I hired Armorkote to repair a chip in my fiberglass bathtub. Sean was very prompt and courteous with his communication and reassured me he would repair the tub. My house is new construction and the tub was damaged during the house construction process. For this reason I wanted the tub professionally repaired after the GC wanted to fix it himself using a DIY kit. Sean came out and in short order he had the damage repaired and blended. The repair looks good and I appreciate the warranty that comes with it. I highly recommend Armorkote Refinishing.

I would not recommend this company to anyone who expects professional work or customer service. The whole business is very shady and there product stinks. They destroyed my bathroom and then demanded payment. And wouldn't show up on time to do any repair work. I was stuck with all of the repairs right before the holidays..
Response by Armorkote Refinishing, LLC: This review is not from a Home Advior Customer. 1) We extend a 10 Year Warranty that covers ANY product or technician error. 2) We have no control over a customer insists on Colors and patterns that are unflattering and Strange 3) It is made very clear that we cannot reglaze toilets. We can certainly not match them and they can most likely not be custom made to match the Dark Green that the customer insisted on against our advise 4) Customers cannot stand without proper protection while liquid product is being sprayed . All work will stop until everyone is compliant 5) A customer who takes up tools or coatings during our process, and applies it to our work area is in direct violation of our policies and cannot be covered by our warranty or insurance, and puts our employees in danger. 6) Only when a job is completed is a customer asked to sign off on and pay for service. Weeks or months later when someone realizes that they made poor choices of color and disregarded any type of protocol or safety conditions, the situation is beyond our control. 7) This is our one bad review, we are registered, insured and respected as a top provider in our industry. This customer made strange advances and requests of our technician. He entered the work area not properly dressed and without safety equipment. He cost us Thousands in extra work, and he took our product and spplied it and who knows what else to the surfaces. 8) The customer paid in full. An invoice that noted that his applications to our product and how it would void the warranty and end our work at his property was then signed by him. 9) He told the technician that he didnt care and that his intent was to "paint" over a portion of our product including the toilet. At that point we are no longer able to help.

Shawn did a beautiful job of refinishing my 1941 bathtub and deep laundry room sinks. The tub had dulled and looked grey, the sinks splattered with years of washing paint brushes. Now they look new! He was prompt and completed the job when I needed it done, not scheduling it months from now. His price was reasonable, he was polite, and followed up the next day to make sure I was satisfied.

While all communication is on line or on the phone, Anna is very accommodating. Picking a color from a picture was not optimal but Anna's advice helped me pick the right color for my kitchen countertop refinishing. I felt as though one portion of the countertops was not given the level of finish coat at the rest of the project. After a second application the countertop was better -- not perfect. All in all, I am happy with process and the value.
