I needed a sump pump for a sump that was in the basement of the house I bought as one was never originally installed. The inspection went smoothly, but the appointment and details surrounding the installation of a sump pump were frustrating. The email from the office confirming the estimate for the work lacked details on what was to be done, and when I called to clarify this I was told it was all in the contract which I have never seen. No one appeared on the day it was to be installed, and when I called, I learned the my appointment was scheduled, but it wasn't assigned to anyone! It had to be rescheduled for late the following week. Reluctantly, I went ahead with the appointment after getting reassurances from Ron (the gentleman who provided the estimate) that all of the work required (sump pump, drainage pipes, GFCI outlet, floating device, etc) was included in the estimate and would be done. Matt performed the work that following week, and did a thorough job and had the patience to do a proper test to ensure that all elements of the sump, drainage pipes, and float worked properly. I was pleased with the final result but very disappointed in the entire process and the delay in getting the work done due to the poor service of the personnel in the office. I have not received confirmation of the 90 day guarantee they mention on their website, and I hope that Matt's work is as fine as it appeared to be and there are no problems in the future.
