Absolutely fantastic service. Showed up promptly at 8am every morning, and got the job done faster than expected. Added some nice touches I didn't even ask for. They made the project seem really easy, and helped me pick out materials that fit my low budget. I felt completely comfortable leaving the project in their hands. And it turned out great! Would recommend to anyone.

We've been working for 3 weeks on a master bathroom remodel, and are a couple days away from finishing. Our goal was to increase accessibility for aging in place. We used a lot (not all) of the ADA guidelines, the main ones being widening doors and pathways to 36" or more, and that we installed a walk-in/roll in shower. Overall, the experience has been positive. Oscar was here every day with his crew of workers, and I am pleased with the speed of their completion. The bathroom looks great, although I have not used it yet. Estimates kept changing as we went along -- be sure EVERYTHING is included in the early estimates and then keep track of changes. However, our cost overrun is in line with the "expect it to cost 10% more" guidance I heard everywhere. I'll have more comments once the job is completely done. At this point I would recommend this company to others happily.

Oscar is very informative, honest and patient. He and his crew did a great job on remodel my shower. and during the entire process, he was very very patient to answer my questions to make sure the job reached my expectation and it did very much so. Price is fair and crew is very professional. I am glad I chose Oscar's team to do the job.

Review by Basu D. in Plano, TX
They installed wrong/sub standard bathroom cabinets. They spilled some chemicals in my backyard killing grass at multiple spots. They have caused lots of delay in doing the project and it is still not competed. We are very dissatisfied with the work and wouldn't recommend them.
Response by Ballpark Construction, LLC: The cabinet is exactly what customer ordered but they wanted the cabinet lower than 30". After it was installed with a granite top. The delays were due to non payment. Job was completed to customers satisfaction and invoices paid. Language/ culture misunderstanding may have contributed to issues.

I'd like to say I am the wife of the man who hired Ballpark Construction who is writing this review since I oversaw and was involved in all aspects of the job. Oscar and his crew of two men were hired to remodel a master bath and remodel-update a second bathroom. They started on time and ended up talking more than a week over estimate to complete. That was OK by us as we understood how much work was involved. The master bathroom is quite beautiful - travertine floors and marble walls with trim were installed for a new installed vestibule shower. There are problems however: - they re-installed old woodwork (baseboards, door trim) which we did not approve of, with the resulting millwork being of poor quality; eg; out of alignment, gouged, poorly fitted, In short - they did not seem to know how to do 'finished millwork/woodwork'. - a shower head is leaking. Grout is coming out of the shower floor tiles, a space with a missing tile is just grouted in, there is a resin-like substance that is splattered over the floor tiles, poor quality cleanup resulted in grout/filler pileups, grout drops on baseboards, and installed 'soft closer' hinges that caused an aggravating and serious health hazard which I am now dealing with. - second bathroom - sealings around tub glass enclosure pealing off, glass was not cleaned of grease, and glue back from seller tags was not removed (now hardened). Contracted to clean the floor grout and could not do - so they painted it with a brown grout stain that is still a shabby mess running over on tiles and baseboards, Wall paint splattered onto ceiling, baseboards poorly milled, - trash left stuck into baseboards behind the toilet, soft closing hinges that don't work. - there is much more to list and I won't go into the details of how we attempted to resolve this, other than to say that we were told to pay more to clean up mistakes and by the end I could no longer tolerate any attempt at a conversation. I do not want any one from Ballpark Construction at my home again - period. We have hired a contractor to clean up the mistakes; shower leak, replacing baseboards and door trim, cleaning up the grout piles, fixing the door and toilet hinges, redoing the seals around tub - basically repairing all I have mentioned above and what I haven't listed. I have compiled photos of their work, and am going through medical evaluation and treatment of the painful condition incurred by the health hazard I mentioned. What is glaring is the fact that Oscar, despite my mentioning this injury at least a couple of times via email, will not acknowledge or apologize. In short, we paid around $23,000 for this work which was not worth the health damage, the violation of trust, and the poor quality of the work results.
Response by Ballpark Construction, LLC: Well... please ask me for pictures of job. The project looks fantastic! I contracted the job with her husband. To create a large roll in shower to accommodate his wife issues. Everything he contracted for was done well. After job was finished we made a punch list of item to be addressed for final. Weeks later wife returns and calls to scream about her knee. If she did not slam the phone down then she could have heard the apology. Highland village oct 15,2015.
