AVOID THIS COMPANY! Best Garage Door LLC quoted me a price to replace my garage door opener and when done it cost me 5 times what was quoted! I did ask them to replace the door springs because they were stretched but very deceptive business practices. When time to pay he tried to get me to sign to pay via credit card on his phone BEFORE showing me final cost. When I insisted to look, he quickly scrolled thru a long list of charges which were almost impossible to read. Paid because the work was already done but when I looked closely at the emailed invoice I saw a long list of charges for items that should be included like the keypad outside the door. And saw prices on components that were grossly overpriced. Plus - get this - he had a charge of over $500 for tips! (Was NOT asked about this!) and a service charge that was never disclosed up front of $300. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!

I believe this company pays for top google search results, obviously they have terrible reviews when you do a deeper dive. They replaced cables and springs last June which costed $975 which I thought was a bit high but offered a 5 year warranty on it. The cable snapped in November and just again in May. Although they didn't charge me in November, they want to charge me $350 to replace the cable. The quality of their work speaks for itself when a cable that should last 10 years has snapped twice in 6 months. I'm going with a local vendor and never calling this company again.

Scammer. 3x upcharge. Hope they go out of business

The guy is a total scammer. I compared prices with another repair person, and it turned out he tried to charge $1900 for a $400 job. On his website https://bestgaragedoorsllc.com/, he claims that he has 5-star reviews everywhere, which, as you can see here, is an absolute lie. He'll also claim that these reviews are about the "wrong business" and are not about him. Be aware that he might give you one estimate and, after the job is done, say the job was much more expensive.

Cheating buisness. Charged $600 for new motor and it worked for a week now it showing issues again. Technician asking for another $550

I got ripped off by this company. They replaced 4 pulls. 2springs. And 2 cables. For what they charged I could have bought a new garage door. When I found out the price I almost passed out.

Was charging $2900 for a spring replacement. Told me the price after it was installed. When I told him to take it out it went down to $1000. Still way overpriced but my fault for not getting estimate beforehand.

Want to advise anyone who would consider using Best Garage Door LLC to stay clear. I had them replace a spring on my garage door and had to leave for a prior appointment. They replaced the spring (which I questioned) and then charged my card without reaching out first. My mistake for providing that information before leaving. Anyway they charged $1,200 for a spring replacement! If that was not bad enough, less than a month later the cables came off the drum and then they charged me another $150 to fix what was most likely the issue to begin with. All the same, this company are scam artists. AVOID OR PAY THE PRICE.

Extremely overpriced and did not install correctly. Do yourself a favor and find another reliable repairman

Good service. Way overpriced (factor of 10 higher than expected).

DO NOT hire these people!!! My garage door wouldn't go all the way down. I hired them to fix it and the guy made a tiny adjustment ($200) but said I also needed new wheels, springs and cable which would be $850. I didn't have $850 so he just replaced the wheels for an extra $200.Three months later the door was even worse. I called them back and the guys boss shows up and again tells me he could fix it for ANOTHER $850!! I said isn't there any kind of warranty on the work you already did? He said no, you have to replace the whole thing. When I said I didn't have $850, he asked how much do you have? He then said he could do it for $500. I said no. So he just turned and walked away. I called Lebanon Door Co in Lebanon, NJ and they fixed they replaced the springs and cables, fixed the garage door opener for $175. NOT $500! NOT $850! $175. This company is a rip off!

I wish I read these reviews before I called them. Beware of this scammer business and the overpriced cost of basic service. They came for a service quote, but they never gave me a quote, to begin with, and never in a million years, did I think that they would charge an outrageous amount for typical replacement items: totaling max $150). we already looked to see how much it would cost at Home Depot for the materials. They used materials sold at Home Depot for $20-30 and charged it for $400 and $700. After it was done he casually gave me a bill for $1600! to replace the broken pulley! We are appreciative of our local service personnel but this group is a complete scammer/rip-off contractor. BEWARE AND NEVER USE THEM! they are a bunch of phonies.

Price was shockingly high. $900 for 2 springs. $300 for 1 hour labor. And the technician left all the trash (broken springs and wheels) for me to deal with.

I got ripped off. One thousand dollars for two hours of work, two cables, two springs, four pulleys, and ten rollers. The material can be purchased at the hardware store for around $90; I will let you do the math. It was not a weekend or a holiday, and never mind that the technician was an hour late.

The price was excessive

The whole experience was five stars from the beginning of the estimate to in between the install and the estimate there was a high level of communication I felt very comfortable the price was amazing when the install crew showed up they were very professional They programed my garage and all remotes that I have to enter my garage I could not be happier and will highly recommend this company.
