"Paul, let's set the record straight. You wanted us to start before any materials were ordered or arrived. We advised against this, but you insisted. This caused a 3&1/2-week delay unnecessarily. You made at least a dozen revisions in the middle of the project that we advised against. You broke contract on at least a dozen times constantly asking for additional work without written notice or approval. You broke contract by asking EVERY single subcontractor for work without written notice authorization or approval. You constantly changed the scope of work without written approval. You sent a letter of cancellation the day you asked for yet another change to scope of work. You were extremely difficult to work with, communicate with, or keep anything that resembled a building schedule. You caused several delays and disruptions while constantly asking for free work in breach of contract. You had another crew that you contracted to do work simultaneously while moving & disturbing our work & progress. You went through 3 other GCs on other contracted work while we were working together. You failed to pay your last payment while work was still being performed. It was a very bad experience working with you. While we appreciate your feedback, this is a libelous & slanderous review that we didn't ask for while maintaining the upmost professionalism throughout your project. Our contract was clear & we added at least $200,000 in value to your home. While it was not a good relationship, we continue to strive to be better each & every day. "Kristi thank you for your feedback. There was no delay or false timeline as you put it. We have anticipated start and completion dates. Kristi and her husband first contacted our company as well as several others to get estimates after their 1 & 1/2-year-old house had a leaking cracked concrete shower pan with an uneven Center drain in your master bath. Kristi and her husband spent several months trying to make the original home builder fix the mistake. They did not and it was out of warranty. They got estimates and chose to go with our company. We are very grateful for their business. We signed contracts on 5-5-22. We started the actual installation on Thursday 7-21-22. After contract signing we designed, picked out, and I coordinated and walk them through multiple vendors to find the tile that Kristi loved and custom designed an entirely new shower, carpet, a closet system. Once all the materials arrived unfortunately Kristi was not home or available for any input while the crew was working for the entire installation. We cleared what was being done with her husband while doing the installation because he was the only one available. She came home at the end of the day after the work had been completed and complained about what had been done without any input while something could easily be installed the way she wanted. We got details on exactly what she was frustrated about with the project. We came back the next day and fixed it to her liking. This became a cycle. When she would come home late unfortunately nothing could be done until the next day to fix anything we were yelled, screamed, and cussed at about this entire experience. We offered to rip out any and all mistakes and reduce the tile and install new tile free of charge which we did. We did all of these free of charge and still, you were not happy. We painted their closet which was not part of the scope of work or on the contract free of charge. We updated the plumbing around your tub as well as the tile which was not in the original scope of work for free. We went above & beyond. We are currently facing arguably the worst economic conditions in 40 years. There was a two-week delay to get the shower door in which we communicated and gave updates multiple times a week. We have made several trips and have gone above and beyond to try to accommodate and make this a better experience. We have corrected all our mistakes. We added tremendous value to the home and fixed the mistakes of another home builder that choose not to do the right thing. The anger and frustration should be directed at the original home builder and the insurance company as they caused significant delays. After redoing a lot of this job trying to leave happy customers we completed this job on 8-20-22. Even after completing the project, we have gone back to the home to fix/change things trying to leave happy customers. We hope this review is taken down. Some people you will never make happy. This is not an accurate description of our company or workmanship. If there are ever any mistakes we own them & correct them."
