I hired Brink (Mike Banghart) when I purchased a 2 bed 2 bath condo that needed upgrades before I could rent it. Mike invested his time doing the estimate and going over options with me. On several items I explained I needed to go with the “budget” option for now and he was supportive and let me know he could make it look great and be high quality. Suddenly I found the perfect tenant but he wanted to move in in about five days. Mike understood this was a revenue opportunity for me I didn’t want Tillet’s and he made it happen. The prior owners had painted Every room a different color in very deep pigmented paint. They had also covered Sheetrock Damage with furniture so my paint job alone was significant. Mike patched, prepped and Painted every room floor to ceiling including trim and inside closets. He Power washed the outdoor patio repeatedly And painted that area as well. He fixed windows that were not opening and closing properly, Cut trim, crown molding’s etc. to replace various places where it was missing. He fixed multiple louver doors And painted them, saving me the cost of buying new doors. He re tiled a walk in shower And installed new towel bars etc., and in another bath replaced toilet, tub, tile, vanity and flooring and all accessories. Lowes measured for A new stove, delivered it and it wouldn’t fit into the slide and space and left it sitting in the middle of the floor. Mike used his expert carpentry skills to fit the stove in properly and with a perfectly clean finish. He removed custom blinds for the deep cleaning and then reinstalled them all properly. Changed locks and all ceiling flush mounts and pendants and did all of this While working around the carpeting crew. When he arrived the day before the tenant was to take occupancy He found that the carpeting company had made a wreck of the Baseboards, so he got to work and patched everything quickly and touched up the paint. When I showed up with the tenant Mike was helping the post construction crew With details to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Mike was great about pulling permits and working with a very challenging HOA. I’ve recommended Mike to several people And will continue to use them for my rental property as well as my own home. When Mike says he’s going to show up, he shows up on time, fully prepared, lots of extra supplies in case he runs into something unanticipated, Never stops working, listening and being responsive to questions, and gets the job done on time or early. Mike came in under budget on my job and gave me a bill that was less than my estimate. Need I say more.

Project: Hire a Handyman
Michael was great but he sent a younger gentleman to my home to do all the work and his work ethic and performance was poor to say the least. They were contracted to remodel my bathroom, replace two doors, repair the gutter and replace several pieces of hard wood flooring. The work did not start on time, they delayed starting by over one week, not bad but he estimated the work would take 3 days. The work took over 6 days to complete and he never actually finished. He replaced two doors in my house and instead of using the right tools he tried to get by using a chisel and the door was sticking and hard to operate. Another maintenance man had to come in to fix it. He had to be directed to clean up after himself in my bathroom. He damaged the mirror and inside of the cabinets in the bathroom as well. The work on the gutters was not done correctly and I had to hire someone else to fix it right. I had a leak coming from my bathroom upstairs, they did not cause, but he did repair it for me. He cut a hole in my kitchen ceiling, 2ft x 2ft and did not bother fixing the hole he cut. He stated he would return at the end of the week to repair it but he did not answer any of my calls or texts. He took his money and ran. I had to call a real professional and get the repairs done right. Worse experience ever. I do not recommend this company for any repairs to your home.

Brink (Mike) repaired my roof after Hurricane Matthew. Subsequently, I hired him to design and build a privacy fence, an outdoor shower enclosure for my beach house, interior painting, installation of new light fixtures throughout my home, and a variety of other projects. He is currently being scheduled to remodel a bathroom. He is reliable, honest, professional, stayed right on budget, and a rare expert craftsman. I referred him to friends and they were also delighted with the work he did. Top notch.
