Project: Hire a Handyman
Cory was pleasant, interested, courteous and timely. He repaired three doors, installed 3 bathroom grab bars, and hung several pictures. He is obviously knowledgeable. I will hire him again for larger projects. I was very pleased.

I hired this pro and paid a deposit of $250.00 This was a couple weeks ago and he will not show up to do the work. He didn't call me back, but showed up at my house aggressively. I already hired a different contractor to get the work done and they did a great job.
Response by CDM Maintenance and Repair: Sir, We apologize you feel this way. The Home Advisor website tracks our calls and we have a documented log of contact with you. Your lead came in on 10/10/18, we contacted you on 10/11/18 to field the request, we contacted you on 10/19/18 to schedule a time to take a look at your projects. On 10/25/18 we stopped by to look at the job and collected a $250.00 deposit for materials and at that time we scheduled an appointment to do the work on Saturday 11/3/18. We stated to you in our initial phone call and the day we met with you we are scheduling TWO weeks out for all jobs. We had received your call on 10/29/18 and called you back to verify with you we could not change our scheduled appointment with you for 11/3/18 because we were booked. We received a call from you on 11/2/18 and our records indicate we called you back within 10 minutes to once again verify your appointment for Saturday 11/3/18. We apologize if you misunderstood the scheduled time for you project. You had posted this review after we contacted you Friday. Saturday, 11/3/18 we met with you to return your funds in CASH as we feel this is not a fair representation of the situation and this is not how we do business with our clients. We do have a recording of the meeting, we showed up on time for our appointment with you, returned your cancelled check along with $250.00 in cash and provided you a print out of this review and gave you a fair reason why we had decided not to do business with you and at no time during the conversation were we behaving in an aggressive manner. We felt it was best not to take this job on as this review is not a true or fair representation of the facts.
