Absolutely the worst encounter I have ever received from a service-oriented Technician. I was extremely specific when requesting repair of my refrigerator. The details I provided where specific and detailed enough that any technician should have appreciated the information and also used it to his or her advantage. I provided the steps I took troubleshooting the problem, provided the suspected problem (main circuit board/motherboard), and even provided the Part Number for the item. I also highly suggested the Technician have the circuit board with him/her when responding to the job. Well, as one may imagine, within five minutes of arriving at my home, the technician identified the motherboard as the culprit, went to his truck, then advised me he didn't have the motherboard and it would be two additional days before he could acquire and have it installed. I am not very happy at this point...especially since I specified the most probable problem in advance, was in dire need of having my refrigerator repaired, and was subjected to a rude individual in my own home. At this point, the technician states to his co-worker, "we are out of here, doesn't reconnect any of the cables or connections he disconnected, and heads for the door". As a final stab, he then states to me the customer, "Thanks for wasting my time and money". At this point my response was simply, "I didn't waste your time or money...I was very specific with my needs, you didn't meet those needs, so you wasted your own time and mine". He then states, "I don't know what you expect on a Saturday...we are not a Parts Store...we are a Repair Company". My response was simply, "I expect my refrigerator to be fixed". I definitely do not recommend this company and will never seek services from them again in the future.
Response by CNS Repair Service, LLC: You requested our "emergency services" at 5:18 PM on a Saturday. All technicians were going home for the day but decided to help when they heard we had a customer with a refrigerator that was not cooling. We had technicians at your home 28 minutes later. By your own admission the technician diagnosed your unit within 5 minutes onsite and could have you fixed the very next business day. This is the kind of service we are proud to offer and the kind of technicians we are proud to have. It is company policy that our technicians must diagnose the appliance and not our customers. We must diagnosis the appliance in totality before we can firmly say all you would need was the control board you were requesting. Unfortunately, it is impossible to carry every part on our vans and we did need to order yours. All part stores were closed until Monday. Your technician was not trying to waste your time or money. He was simply trying to get your unit repaired as quickly as possible by doing his job. When he advised you that he did not have the board on hand, you refused to pay for any services. It is our policy that if a customer refuses to pay for services the technician is to leave the premises. I apologize if you had a negative interaction with your technician and that is not the typical behavior of our technicians.

I was the last appointment of the day. John, the owner, was running very late. He called to let me know, got to my house sometime after 8 PM, diagnosed the issue. Explained everything clearly, and cleaned up everything. He didn’t get to leave until about 9 PM. He told me he works until the job is done, which I greatly appreciate since my refrigerator had been on the fritz for about a week, and I had another repair man From a different company, lined up they didn’t follow through. The cost was very reasonable plus, because I was a first time customer, I received $25 off. Great company, highly recommend!

Truly customer-oriented. The error code on our washer indicated a control board failure. Rather than automatically replace a pricey component, the serviceman checked and tightened all the electrical connections. Problem solved! Couldn't be happier.
