Luis and his team were prompt, very responsive, listened to our needs and ultimately did an excellent job. We initially had a contractor start the job and did not finish. Luis came in and work with our budget and on the work that had already been started. I was very particular but impressed with the way the crew managed details and cleaned up afterward. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

nothing.
Response by CTI Houston: CTI does not know what the issue is with this customer. Her project is almost 2 years old and there were no known issues given by customer, nor has the customer made any warranty request.

UPDATING MY REVIEW }:\ Contacted Home Advisor to submit escalation form. We now have a crack on our sidewalk and NOBODY will call us back. Don't be fooled by the so called "WARRANTY". I guess they don't have to honor it if they never send you warranty papers in writing!!!!! There is no such thing as customer service with CTI. They are not professionals if they can't even try to resolve the issue or return a phone call. We had our driveway, sidewalk & patio redone. The concrete workers that actually do the work were nice and cleaned up after themselves. The only issue I had was with the stamping guy. It was supposed to look like cobblestone and the guy was apparently training a new guy and he missed some of the stamping. Luis and the corporate office have been giving me the run around. We had this work done Jan/18. They never sent us any written warranty like they said they would and it's now June. We now have a crack in the concrete in the patio and have let the company know and they don't return calls. We've gotten the run around and any time I call I get automatically transferred to voicemail but nobody returns my call. Also, when they removed the concrete they broke the siding at our bay window and Luis said he would have a guy come out and fix it. We even told him we had the hardiboard on hand. That never happened. Later when I brought it up to Janet, she said she would get us on the schedule and again that still hasn't happened. They are good at keeping in touch with you until you pay and then they forget to follow up afterwards.
Response by CTI Houston: Adriana C's issues have been remediated. CTI went beyond her warranty and fixed things that were not covered in her warranty by CTI Houston.

I had a tree removed that damaged my walkway. CIT quickly removed the damaged concrete and started setting forms for new. Contractor left the site and foreman continued. I expressed my concerns the slope was not correct and he assured me it was fine. The concrete was about to be poured and the contractor, back on the job site, assured me all was fine. End result is a 1/8 bubble leaving the house to a 1/2 bubble dipping left, to almost level, to 3/4 bubble to street. CTI had a clean slate and still screwed it up. How does this company get 5.0 reviews. It might have been my $1400. job was not worth the effort. My end result was crap. Customer service was great. They sent the foreman out to discuss the remedies and with the language barrier recommended a french drain next to the walk from the house to the street. Numerous calls resulting in no response. Reasonable price turns out to be double because other contractors want to again remove the existing walkway. I could not be more disappointed with the quality of this job.
Response by CTI Houston: Rick M., I do apologize if you feel that way; however, I must address your complaint because you are giving out very incorrect information, and if a customer wants to read reviews and make an opinion based on those reviews, then it is only fair that they are true. In regards to you project we do not have a slope or a leveling problem on your project, your project was to simply... Remove and replace front concrete walkway and partial sidewalk approx. 124 sf.. We had the foreman go back out to discuss your project after it was completed and it was in fact the same foreman that was out on the job initially when the project was going on. He did not find a problem at that time. We do not have anyone at our company that has a language barrier problem and are appalled at that statement. We are committed to superior customer service as well as the integrity of ALL of our projects. Your project was not too small because we handle projects large and small and each and every project is important to us. Also your price of your project did not double in price and if you really had a problem then you would not have paid your remaining balance once your project was complete... in fact it never changed or will it ever for any customer after they have received their comprehensive estimate which are free. CTI takes pride in their work and in their customers. If you would like to discuss things further we would love to help you in any way we can.

Review by Robert H. in Houston, TX
They decided to do the work on a day In July, 2017, when it rained heavily in the afternoon. During the rain they made no attempt to cover the new concrete or protect it in any way The finish on the driveway looked very bad and they tried to do repairs with a concrete patch product which they said would eventually blend in. We very carefully followed advice and did not drive on the new surface for over a week and then we were out of town for some time. When we returned and examined it in October we noticed cracking appearing at the edge of one of the sections and at the end where the driveway met the street we noticed chipping and spalling of the concrete. Also the repair patches did not blend in as promised and stood out. We called Luis, the representative from CTI, and he came and inspected and agreed that there were problems. He took photos of the damage and said he would have to get approval for the repairs and would get back to us. I had to call several times before finally being told in January that they would not stand behind their guarantee. Luis said that their insurance company blamed the damage on the rain and would not cover it.. Luis said that CTI would replace the driveway but we would have to pay half of the cost. I told Luis that I was not willing to pay them any more money. The overall impression is that CTI is happy to take your money and give you a warranty that turns out to be meaningless. I would never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done.
Response by CTI Houston: Good Day Mr. H. I do apologize that you feel that way. CTI prides ourselves in the feedback of our customers. We also hope that you understand that we stand by our warranties and the decision to not repair your driveway was up to the warranty department. We did offer to remedy the situation for you, however you refused. Please give us a call if there is anything else that we can do for you to try to mediate this situation. Thank you and have a great day!
