Project: Repair a Telephone System - For Business
After calling the phone company out twice to my employment with no luck repairing the phone lines I found Gary from Carolina Telecom. I sent him a message and within an hour and a half he was here and repaired the problem! He is very prompt and professional. I would definitely recommend this company!

It was a pleasure working with a professional who was courteous, prompt and provided a fair price, within the required time frame. All work was well done, tested, labeled and terminated as requested. I would have ZERO qualms hiring him again or recommending him to others. You don't meet professionals every day who take pride in their work. Carolina Telecom does.

Well first off, you need to know that there are two sides of the company, residential and commercial. I'm sure with all the past good reviews, the commercial side was great. But, the residential side was very poor indeed. Th installer shows up early, which was fine and inspects what to do. He then proceeds to talk my wife out of what she needed and talks her into running a coaxial cable from my daughters room down to the front downstairs room. At this point my daughter (10 months old) is napping. But he wants to go into her room to check out coax access ports so that he can piggyback and run one long cable down to the room. After waking her up, he starts his job. While drilling down through the wall, he "accidentily drills into my neighbors garage( we live in a townhome.) then has to back up come across to the our room and pull cable, tus creating more holes in my walls. After he was done he told my wife that I could do the repairs no problem, because they just run the cable, " We don't do repairs." After all of this, it actually is costing me more to fix this imbecile's problems than what he was charging. Would definitely look for other options. Cheaper is not always better.
