Initially, this husband/wife team were great. They came to the house within one hour of me looking for a pro on Home Advisor. They were very nice and knowledgeable. I felt I was leaving my expensive pool and equipment in good hands. For the first 3 months, I had no complaints and that is why I gave them 2 stars. I checked reviews and their Facebook page and everything looked fantastic. I figured Home Advisors was endorsing them too. Unfortunately, they lost their way and showed very poor work ethic in the end. They started skipping weeks. I made some concessions for holidays and bad weather and the fact that the water looked crystal clear. However, the last straw occurred on the wife's final cleaning visit. It had been a month since her husband had been out to the house. My pool cover spool had blown into the pool 2 1/2 weeks prior. She pulled the spool out of the water, righted the cover, and left in 3 minutes. I think she did a chemistry check from the water on top or around the top of the cover. She could have finished faster if she put her phone down and used both of her hands. Her worker only paced back and forth around the pool. Obviously after a month, the pool needed something done, but she was preoccupied with her phone. If it didn't happen more than once and if the owner didn't try to make excuses for poor service, I probably would have given them another chance. They took advantage of the fact that I am a seasonal customer, but I have cameras that record what they did or did not do. Very frustrating. I thought they would be different after seeing scripture quoted on their FB page. When I returned to FL, I brushed dust-like clouds from the sides and bottom of the pool, cleaned a filthy filter and a corroded salt cell. A reputable pool supply company that tested my water levels said the pool was "neglected." It took $100 of chemicals to re-balance the water. Since I prepaid for services, Coastal Pool and Property refunded the final month to me.
